Beautified with Goodly Shape: Rethinking the Properties of Large Extra Dimensions

Much recent attention has focused on theories with large extra compactifieddimensions. However, while the phenomenological implications of the volumemoduli associated with such compactifications are well understood, relativelylittle attention has been devoted to the shape moduli. In this talk, Idemonstrate that non-trivial shape moduli can lead to a number of effects whichare relevant not only for experimental searches for extra dimensions, but alsofor the interpretation of experimental data if such extra dimensions are found.This talk reports on work done partly in collaboration with Arash Mafi.
